Phil started his career with Mitchell, Williams, one of the largest law firms in Arkansas. He then became an in-house counsel for some of the largest companies in the United States, including Walmart Stores and The Home Depot. Phil also served as General Counsel for Anthony Forest Products, Deltic Timber Corporation, and Teck American Incorporated.

In his 37 years as a corporate attorney, Phil learned how to analyze legal issues and develop practical, effective, and cost conscience solutions. He has always been known for his positive attitude, enthusiasm, and common-sense and pragmatic approach to legal issues.

Following his “retirement,” he was given the opportunity to become an adjunct professor at the University of Arkansas Law School. During his tenure as a professor, he found a gap in the legal representation of small businesses. Although Northwest Arkansas has many law firms, none specialize solely in small business legal representation. Therefore, Phil formed the Law Office of Phillip A. Pesek PLLC, solely for the purpose of representing and helping the small business owners of Northwest Arkansas.
